Built on experience.
Driven by engineering.
iN2 LLC combines real-world infrastructure operations with advanced network engineering, communications, software development, artificial intelligence and long-term technology research.
We approach technology from the inside out—understanding the systems, protocols, hardware and operational responsibilities behind the services our clients rely on.
Independent thinking. Connected disciplines.
iN2 LLC is a technology engineering and services company focused on designing, implementing, integrating and maintaining systems that support day-to-day operations and future growth.
Our work crosses boundaries that are often handled by separate vendors: data center infrastructure, private clouds, virtualization, enterprise networking, carrier voice systems, secure communications, software platforms, monitoring, automation and emerging AI systems.
That breadth matters. A performance issue can begin in an application and end in a storage path. A voice-quality problem can involve routing, security policy, carrier interconnection or endpoint configuration. We look at the complete system rather than treating each technology as an isolated product.
Our approach starts with the customer's needs, a careful examination of the environment, and practical engineering decisions. The objective is reliable, maintainable solutions—not complexity for its own sake.

Hands-on engineering as a foundation
Christopher Bolton is closely associated with iN2 LLC's technical direction and is identified as the author and creator of the TriOS technology architecture. His work spans the interconnected disciplines of network engineering, infrastructure operations, software development and systems design.
iN2 Tools describes the engineering experience informing its utility suite as more than four decades of hands-on systems, network and data center administration. That experience is reflected in tools addressing BGP routing, DNS, mail transport security, IPv6, optical connectivity, VoIP and infrastructure diagnostics.
The technologies featured on this website reflect a consistent emphasis on understanding how systems work at a fundamental level—from physical connectivity and protocol behavior to virtual infrastructure and complex applications.
Beyond operating existing systems
Bolton's documented TriOS concept explores a fabric-native distributed multikernel operating system architecture in which independent physical or virtual computers retain local authority while participating in a coordinated, resilient computing fabric. It is an architectural development initiative, not presented here as a commercially released operating system.
From carrier networks to custom applications
These capabilities are connected by one principle: complex systems work best when the architecture is understood end to end.

Some challenges require more than a standard software subscription or a standard network design.
Corrections & commissary systems
Our portfolio includes multilingual tablet interfaces and interactive voice response (IVR) concepts and systems supporting Department of Corrections commissary workflows. The objective is to support accessible, understandable interactions across language and device boundaries within institutional operating requirements.
Explore corrections technology →Technical services and client continuity
iN2 supports customers across hosting, virtual infrastructure, DNS, voice services, secure mail and custom applications. Our centralized client support directory helps customers reach the correct service and request assistance without exposing internal infrastructure details.
Client support directory →Relationships grounded in technical accountability
We believe useful technology should solve identifiable business problems, respect operational constraints and be supportable over its lifetime.
Understand first
Review the goals, the existing environment and the dependencies before recommending an architecture.
Engineer deliberately
Consider performance, security, resilience, maintainability and integration as parts of the same problem.
Support the result
Focus on the ongoing operation, observability and evolution of the solution.
Let's talk about what you're building.
Whether you need an infrastructure assessment, carrier communications engineering, a custom application, or advice on a difficult technical challenge, start with a conversation.
